Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for more than 20 years. Swift's stories of young love and heartbreak has earned her the acclaim of many in the 21st Century. Swift discovered a love for the arts at a very young age, and quickly moved from roles in theatre for children until her first performance before an audience of tens of thousands. Swift began writing music at the age of 11. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers game. Swift created original music inspired by the country music of artists such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens being apathetic. Swift moved from Pennsylvania with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she turned 13 to devote her time in contacting label representatives from the country genre.
